Abstract

Dicumyl, bis-(p-chlorocumyl) and bis (3, 4-dichlorocumyl) peroxides are prepared by reacting the corresponding a -cumyl chlorides with an aqueous solution of H2O2 at 0-40 DEG C., the pH of the reaction mixture as measured or a pH-meter with a glass/calorel electrode being below 2.5.
