A van door 1 has its weight supported at its upper edge on runners 2 engaging the horizontal parts 4 of a channel 5 and to force the door inwardly in the closed position rollers 20, 21 rotating on vertical axes engage cam plates 22, 25. The cam plate 22 depends from the upper surface of the channel 5 and the plate 25 is upstanding from the lower face so that the roller 20 can move past the cam plate 25 when the door is slid to the open position.
