Abstract

956,249. Indicator lamps. CARR FASTENER CO. Ltd. March 1, 1962 [April 27, 1961], No. 15350/61. Heading F4R. A lamp assembly for mounting on a panel, e.g. as an indicator light, comprises a lampholder 1 having a miniature neon lamp 5 mounted therein, the whole being enclosed in a sealed envelope 9 of transparent synthetic plastic sheet material having apertures 10, 11 for the lead wires to the lamp. A resistor 6 in series with the lamp may be included. The envelope 9 comprises a seamless tube of plastic closed by transverse heat seals 12, 13, end portions 14, 15 extending beyond the seals being provided with apertures to facilitate fastening the envelope to a support.
