Abstract

1364835 Annunciator SIMPLEX TIME RECORDER CO 21 Oct 1971 [23 Oct 1970] 49104/71 Heading G5C An annunciator comprises a front panel 12 having two apertures 13, 14 each covered by a translucent element. A plate 25 is mounted behind the panel 12 and has apertures 33 for lamps 26, each lamp 26 having a rectangular cell 29 which serves as a reflector, heat eliminator and light shield. A pair of cells 29 illuminates each indicating element, e.g. 22 which comprises an indicia-bearing sheet 37 held between a clear plastics sheet 36 and a translucent plastics sheet 38. If desired, the sheets 36, 38 may be reversed, and more than two lamps 26 may illuminate an element.
