A pipe coupling comprises a split, bell-mouthed coupling member A surrounding the ends of a pair of flanged pipes, split coupling collets C disposed within the bell-mouthed ends of the coupling member, and a sealing ring B of rubber or a plastic having inturned sealing lips positioned around the flanges of the pipes and radial tongues T disposed between the flanges of the pipes. Fluid passes into the body of the sealing ring to exert hydraulic sealing pressure on the lips of the ring. The coupling may be in halves and bolted together at lugs L.
