Abstract

The invention comprises N,N-bis-(N1, N1-dialkyldithiocarbamylmethyl) - alkylamine fungicides of the formula: <FORM:0949641/C2/1> wherein R1, R2 and R3 represent the same or different C1-4 alkyl radicals. The compounds are prepared by reacting S-methylol derivatives of appropriate dithiocarbamic acids with appropriate monoalkylamines. ALSO:A fungicidal composition comprises an N,N-bis - (N1,N1 - dialkyldithiocarbamylmethyl)-alklyamine of the formula <FORM:0949641/A5-A6/1> wherein R1, R2 and R3 represent the same or different C1-4 alkyl radicals, together with a diluent such as kaolin, chalk, talc and optional amounts of emulsifiers, wetting agents and protective colloids.
