The invention comprises compounds of general formula: <FORM:0948556/C2/1> wherein R is CH3-CH2-, CH3-CH2-CH2-, Cl-CH2, Cl-CH2-CH2-, C6H5-CH2-or C6H5-CH2-CH2-. The compounds may be prepared by reacting a compound R.CO.Cl with dihydroxyfumaric acid.
