[Also in Division B4] A web M of photo-sensitive material is fed to a cutting position from a roll by a feedroller and passes over a glass printing-platen 17 to a fixed cutter 61 and a mechanicallyactuated movable cutter 53 which carries on a bracket 81 a guide 83 for the web. The material M is allowed to form a loop and, before it is cut, the guide 83 moving with the cutter urges the material into the throat formed between two developing trays 87, 89, after which it is squeegeed by a pair of rollers 107, 107<SP>1</SP> running at a lower speed than the feed roller so as to form the said loop. After cutting the previouslylooped material is further urged by the moving guide 83 into the throat.
