A carding machine has sets of worker and stripper rollers consisting of a stripper roller interposed between two worker rollers. Where the sets of rollers are located under a main cylinder 13, a cover 14 is located under the stripper roller 10 of each set and a plain roller 15 is also provided to prevent fibres falling from the stripper roller.
