Abstract

947,693. Plant cultivation. M. FERRAND. Dec. 4, 1962 [Dec. 12, 1961], No. 45760/62. Heading A1E. Seeds are sown in soil contained in a tube 1 formed with longitudinal folds so that its cross-section is star-staped, the tube having a rolled upper edge 3 forming an annular trough 5 which may contain an anti-parasite product. The tube is preferably transparent. To germinate the seeds several such tubes are placed in perforations 8, 9 in a frame 7 supported above a water container 10. The seedlings are left in the tube when transplanted.
