A driving belt of reinforced rubber, plastics or the like comprises two or more spaced parallel portions 12 of trapezoidal section integral with a rectangular section 13 containing reinforcing textile cords 15. A layer 16 of fabric lies between the cords and the portions 12. Rubber is moulded around the cords and fabric, and an outer layer 17 of rubber-impregnated fabric is provided. The trapezoidal portions 12 engage corresponding grooves 21 in a pulley 20.
