The headboard 44 of a bed-settee is carried by a pair of arms 42 pivoted at 40 to rear bearer links 28 and having pin-andslot connections 48, 46 with levers 50. Links 28 pivotally support, at 30, the end of the inner bed section 20. During folding, the headboard moves initially about pivot 40 and is then carried beneath fixed back 16, by movement about pivot 34, to an inverted position behind the back. U.S.A. Specification 3,041,634 is referred to.
