In a combined drop dispenser and bottle closure clap the amount by which the bulb can be depressed is adjustably limited to correspond to a desired amount to be dispensed. In Fig. 2 the flexible bulb 152 is secured in a rotatable and airtight manner to the cap 86 which carries a stop 108 having a pair of projecting arms 110, 112, cooperating with a stepped member 152 on the bulb. By rotating the bulb to bring different pairs of steps 170a opposite the arms 110, 112, the amount by which the bulb can be depressed before the steps contact the stop is adjustable, and hence adjustable amounts of liquid are drawn into the pipette 140. The pipette is carried by a resilient diaphragm 130, attached to the cap 86, which forms an air-tight seal between the cap and the end of the bottle neck, when the cap is tightened, and also prevents liquid flowing into the bulb through the air passage 106. The diaphragm 130 moves away from the passage 106, when the cap 86 is slackened, to connect the interior of the bulb to the pipette. The bulb carries markings co-operating with a stationary pointer 182, Fig. 1, to indicate the amount of liquid which will be drawn into the pipette for each setting of the bulb. In a modification, Fig. 7, the movement of the resilient cap 241 is limited by a helical surface 221, Fig. 8, co-operating with arms 231 on a plunger 230 carried by the cap 241. In Fig. 14 the movement of the bulb 271 is limited by a disc 275 with three legs 276 which engage three sets of grooves 274, Fig. 16, of different lengths formed on a sleeve 273 carried by the cap 270.
