Abstract

945,894. Glazing. K. GARTNER, J. GARTNER, H. GARTNER, A. GARTNER and T. SCHNITZLER, [trading as JOSEF GARTNER & CO]. March 7, 1961 [Dec. 2, 1960], No. 8313/61. Heading E1R. The flange 5 of an angle-section glazing strip bears against a packing strip 4, and the flange 6 is screwed to the frame by screws 12 extending through slots 7. Cylindrical discs 9 are eccentrically bored to accommodate the screw head and are radially slotted at 14 so that they may be rotated by a key (Figs. 4 and 5, not shown) and thus tighten the glazing strip against the saw toothed edge 4a of the packing strip.
