Class 20(3) A sealing arrangement for a window, e.g. a ship's window, comprises, mounted along two or more edges of the window 1, a flexible beam 7 which is urged against the window by pressure applying screws 6 and a compressed spring 5. The window is forced against a resilient seal 2 inserted in a groove in the frame 3. In a second arrangement, Fig. 2 (not shown), a single pressure applying screw is used between two compression springs.
