Abstract
943,883. Thermo electric devices. LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS-G.m.b.H. Jan. 23, 1962 [Jan. 26, 1961], No. 2399/62. Heading H1K. In electrical apparatus which is supplied with a liquid coolant the voltage supply conductors run inside the flexible conduit through which the coolant flows. The invention is described with respect to a refrigerator employing the Peltier effect in which a coolant is supplied via flexible conduit 2, Fig. 1, and electrode 5 to the hot junction, while the current supply is via cable 1 and copper spout 4 to the electrode 5. Fig. 2 shows the method of terminating the other end of the flexible current supply cable in a hose coupling 7 provided with a terminal 11. Since the electrical apparatus operates at low voltage no insulation of the supply cable 1 is required inside the coolant supply conduit.
