943,855. Vehicle seat arrangements; controlling vehicles. ANDRE CITROEN S. A. Aug. 2, 1961 [Nov. 14, 1960], No. 28022/61. Headings B7H and B7J. A vehicle has a driving cabin 4, Fig. 1, provided with two individual seats 6 each pivotable about two separate vertical axes 8, 9 at the ends of a support arm 7 so that their positions and the directions in which they face can be changed in order to allow more flow space 5. As shown in Fig. 3, the driver's seat may, after the seat back 12 is folded against the seat squab 10, be positioned below the dash board (not shown) so that the driver can control the vehicle from the standing position. In this case, the driver's right foot controls an accelerator pedal 15 pivotable about a vertical axis YY. A protuberance 19 is provided on the flow 5 to serve as a pivot for the driver's right heel, whereby he can pivot the foot in order to operate the accelerator and a vertically movable brake pedal button 16. When the driver's seat is in the position shown in full lines in Fig. 1, the driver operates conventional control pedals below the dash board.
