[Also in Divisions F2 and H1] In a brake control structure for motor vehicles (Division F2), an electrical switch device 9 is disposed within a cushion 8 of the driver's seat such that when the driver is seated electrical contacts are made to actuate a magnetic valve 24 to cause the brakes to be released and when the driver leaves the seat the contacts are opened to open the valve 24 and allow fluid under pressure to cause the brakes to be applied. The brakes of the vehicle may also be actuated in a normal manner by means of a driver's brake valve 11 operated by a brake pedal 10 allowing compressed air or vacuum to be supplied to the wheel brake cylinders 19, 22 from a reservoir 12.
