813,923. Controlling vehicles; pedals. PRESSED STEEL CO. Ltd. May 8, 1957 [April 25, 1956], No. 12638/56. Classes 79(5) and 136(2) A control pedal for a vehicle comprises a pedal plate 15 on a bar 14 that slides:: within a pedal arm 11 in which it is urged to a position of minimum adjustment by a spring 16. The bar has apertures 19 in which a spring loaded pin 21 can engage. The pin is operated by a knob 22 on the dashboard of the vehicle through a Bowden cable 21 to adjust the pedal position to suit the length of the driver's legs, as indicated by the dotted lines in the Figure.
