[Also in Group XXXI] In a passenger motor vehicle in which three seats are arranged side-by-side and steering means is arranged to be operated from the centre seat, the seats are arranged to be dis: placeable sideways so that when two seats only are occupied the weight of the occupants is disposed symmetrically about the central longitudinal axis of the vehicle. When two of the seats are so re-positioned the third seat may be stowed in a folded condition and the steering column may be moved laterally or pivoted to a position in line with the altered position of the driver's seat.
