943,594. Positive clutches. F. SCHNEIDER. Aug. 3, 1962, No. 29965/62. Headings F2C and F2L. In a rolling key clutch for a cable winch drum 1 the key 4 is rotated for engagement with one of a series of drum recesses 2 by the contacting of the circumference of an integral control disc 7 with one of a corresponding series of inwardly spring-loaded plungers 8. Angular displacement of the key 4 is controlled by an arm 5 movable between stops 6a, 6b. The key may be released, when the drum is stationary, by pulling on the cable 10 so that one of the plungers 8 enters a notch 11 in the disc 7 to rotate the latter in the key-disengaging direction.
