A fusible cut-out includes fixed conducting members 3, 4 connected by a channel-shaped link 6 fastened to both members by a material of low melting point, which is melted by an increase of ambient temperature so that a tension spring 7 displaces the link 6 to disconnect the members 3, 4. Spring 7 is attached to a finger 8 projecting from the insulating casing 1 or to a pin passing through the casing.
