Abstract
In a priming composition for percussion and friction fuses lead trinitrophloroglucinate monohydrate is used as the sensitizing explosive material. The priming composition preferably contains at least 10% by weight, e.g. 28 to 35%, if the lead trinitrophloroglucinate monohydrate. The remaining components of the priming composition are substantially the same as in lead trinitroresorcinate priming compositions, the oxygen carrier being selected from barium nitrate, lead dioxide and minium, and the thermally active substance being selected from antimony sulphide, calcium silicide, finely divided elementary silicon and elementary boron.
