Abstract

940,300. Hoppers. GEB. BUEHLER. Sept. 13, 1961 [Sept. 13, 1960], No. 32884/61. Heading B8S. Meal is fed from hopper 1 by pusher rod 3 which is reciprocated by piston 9a of fluid cylinder 9, the rod discharging the meal through outlet 5a. The rod 3 is furnished with a valve 7 rigid therewith so that the valve 7 opens the outlet as the rod is discharging the meal. Cams 7a, 7b attached to rod 3 control switch 10 which controls valve 12, thus allowing fluid to be fed to cylinder 9 from pump 14 to operate said cylinder.
