936,683. Distributing road working materials. A.B.G.- WERKE G.m.b.H. July 18, 1960 [April 20, 1960], No. 25027/60. Class 107. In a bucket distributer for road making materials of the type which operates on side forms and comprises a frame 1 which supports a pair of transverse rails 9, 10 along which the bucket is traversed when distributing materials from an aperture 27 in its base, the bucket and an attached shoot 20 and feed hopper 19 are mounted in a frame 18 which can be tilted by hydraulic rams 22 from its distribution position to a position in which the hopper may receive a load of new material from an end-tipper lorry positioned in advance of the distributer. Means are also provided for adjusting the height of the bucket relative to the frame 1 so as to vary the thickness of the distributed layer.
