936,418. Screw-sockets. G. A. TINNERMAN. Jan. 10, 1961, No. 1030/61. Class 89 (1). A mouldable anchoring fastener for insertion in the aperture of a member comprises a base 10 with a passage 14 for a screw, shanks 11, 12 integral with the base and having lateral projection 13 forming the fastener-head, and flared parts forming shoulders 15, 16 on the shanks, the head and shanks being contractable for inserting the shoulder through the aperture. The fastener may be moulded from polystyrene or polyhexamethylene adiptamide. The shanks may have inner projections assisting in urging them against the sides of the opening.
