Abstract
935,394. Clamps. RAPID METAL DEVELOPMENTS Ltd. May 28, 1962 [March 18, 1961, June 14, 1961], Nos. 9967/61 and 21410/61. Class 44. A clamp, e.g. suitable for clamping pairs of shuttering units consisting of panels 10, Fig. 1, flanges 11 and with aligned apertures 12, comprises a pair of hooks 14 of a U-shaped member 13 which are inserted through apertures 12, and an eccentrically pivoted clamping member 17 formed with a groove 19 so that on rotation to the clamping position the groove 19 embraces the edges of the flanges. In another embodiment, Fig. 3, the stud 16 extends through a slot 21 in a wedge-shaped clamping member 20 which is knocked, e.g. by a hammer into the clamping position. In both embodiments the member 13 may only have one hook.
