934,603. Valves. PEGLERS Ltd. Dec. 21, 1959 [Dec. 31, 1958], No. 42247/58. Class 135. A diaphragm, e.g. for a valve, is made of moulded plastic, such as polyamide or polyethylene, and consists of an outer ring 10, Fig. 1, connected to a central boss 11 by a radial wall 12 at one side of a central plane of the diaphragm ; the boss 11 is adapted to control fluid flow through an orifice, not shown. In another form the wall 12, Fig. 5, is of corrugated configuration and is disposed in the central plane of the diaphragm. The radial wall lies in a plane common to the outer ring and central boss when the diaphragm is unstressed.
