Abstract

Pharmaceutical compositions having hypoglycaemic activity comprise a carrier and, as essential active ingredient, cyclopropanecarboxylic acid or a salt thereof with a therapeutically acceptable cation. They may be in forms suitable for oral, parenteral or rectal administration, e.g. a tablet, capsule, suspension, solution or suppository containing conventional diluents and adjuvants.
