Abstract

The invention comprises azetidine derivatives of the formula: <FORM:0933095/IV(a)/1> wherein R1, R2, R4 and R5 represent C1-4 alkyl groups, R3 represents a C1-6 aliphatic acyl group and A represents a straight or branched chain alkyl group, and acid addition salts thereof. The compounds are prepared by reacting a hydrazine derivative of the formula: <FORM:0933095/IV(a)/2> with a di-substituted malonic acid dihalide of the formula: <FORM:0933095/IV(a)/3> wherein "Hal" designates chlorine or bromine. Specification 922,585 is referred to.
