Abstract

932,966. Flexible containers. GOODYEAR TIRE & RUBBER CO. Nov. 17, 1960 [May 3, 1960], No. 39486/60. Class 66. [Also in Groups XXIX and XXXIII] A fluid container 1, which may be used for pneumatic dunnage, is formed of two pieces 2, 3 of flexible fabric secured together at their margins 4 and reinforced by a strip 7 of cord-reinforced material in which the cords 8 run transversely of the strip. The container is coated with a blend of a butadieneacrylonitrile copolymer and vinyl resin having the vinyl radical monomer present in at least a major amount. The container is inflatable through a valve 5 (see Group XXIX), and has handles 6; it may be formed of nylon or " Dacron " (Trade Mark). The container preferably has two valves 5.
