Abstract

932,101. Pulse-generating circuits. E. HAEFELY & CIE A.G. June 1, 1960 [March 4, 1960], No. 19342/60. Class 40 (6). In a multi-stage pulse generator of the type in which capacitors C are changed in parallel through resistors RL and discharged in series through spark gaps F, oscillatory charging of the stray capacitance K is minimized by connecting a further capacitor K 1 between corresponding points of successive stages. The invention minimizes the peak voltage between stages during discharge. Damping resistors Ri are provided. Capacitors K 1 may be connected between points 2, 3 and 4, 5 of alternate pairs of successive stages.
