Abstract

930,951. Gravity-separation apparatus. JARMIL PAV. March 24, 1962, No. 11355/62. Class 46. The mixture to be treated is pumped at 2 from a basin 1 through a mechanical oscillation generator 5 into a separating vessel 8. Air is simultaneously introduced to the vibration generator at 6. Vacuum may be applied to vessel 8 at 9. A layer of aerated particles overflows at 10 into a space 11 while purified liquid is discharged through a valve 13 to a pipe 14. Mixture may also flow from basin 1 to vessel 8 at 7. The particles are coagulated in vessel 8 by the vibrations.
