Abstract

929,937. Laminates. LOVABLE BRASSIERE CO. Ltd. Jan. 28, 1960 [Feb. 2, 1959], No. 3675/59. Class 140. A shoulder strap for a woman's undergarment comprises an outer layer 11 of material and an inner layer 19, the edges of the outer layer being turned over, and the turned-over edges folded over the lining layer so that they meet in a butt joint and the lining layer is covered by the outer layer, and the layers being secured together by heat-sealing. The lining layer may be of high-density polyethylene, or may be impregnated or coated with, e.g., polyvinyl chloride or polyethylene, and may extend to the full width of the strap, or be narrower, as shown, to leave a margin 20 at each edge of the strap that is more flexible than the remainder.
