929,349. Milk floats. A. A. HAYWARD. Oct. 23, 1961 [Oct. 24, 1960; Nov. 3, 1960; Nov. 24, 1960], Nos. 36475/60, 37826/60 and 40413/60. Class 108(1). A milk-float has a cabinet 1 provided with shelves 8, 9 and glazed doors 2, 3 hinged to pillar 7 or sliding in the rear or sides of the cabinet which may be at the front or rear of the float. The cabinet walls comprise two sheets of metal filled with an insulating material and the top wall of the cabinet is spaced from roof 4 to form a compartment 6. A door 10 closes a spare wheel compartment. The front cabinet walls may be extended toward the roof and contain a window enabling the driver a rear view through the doors 2, 3. The top part of the cabinet may be divided into three, the two side compartments being accessible from outside and the middle compartment from inside the vehicle. The shelves may be perforated sheet material or of expanded metal resting on angle members fixed to the cabinet walls.
