Abstract

The vehicle consists of a superstructure (1) resting on a chassis (2) with a lower floor (3). Horizontal panels (6) divide the body into compartments. Each compartment has two moving parts which operate on rollers. These form the "roof" of the lower compartment, and floor of the upper one. The upper roof (1) is fixed. The two horizontally moving panels (6) are joined by a bridge piece (8). One end of the bridge piece is fixed securely and the other is hinged. Notches in the moving panels work in conjunction with corresponding projecting parts and there are also fixing devices.
