928,966. Projection lamps. M. C. HARLEY. March 23, 1962 [March 24, 1961], No. 10821/61. Class 75 (4). A projection lamp comprises a casing enclosing a reflector and an electric light source, the front of the casing having a light-transmitting window behind which is mounted a light transmitting screen spaced from the window and from the top of the casing to provide a path for circulation of air. In the form shown, a lamp of the type described in Specification 852,652 consists of a casing c having air vents e, f, g, in which is mounted a reflector a spaced from the easing to provide an air space d at the rear. The casing has a front glass k and a second glass m of length to extend over the upper half of the glass k is mounted between and spaced from the glass k and reflector a, a gap being provided between the upper edge of the glass m and the top of the easing. The light source h is mounted in a bracket j and projects through a hole in the reflector. The glass m may be ribbed or fluted on one or both faces.
