928,952. Mine roof supports. BAYERISCHE BERG-, HUTTENUND SALZWERKE A.G. Sept. 10, 1959 [Sept. 10, 1958], No. 30967/59. Class 20 (2). A roof support at the junction of mine galleries comprises three or more props 1, 2, 3 braced by beams 4 and formed of superimposed sections and shaped to conform to the shape of the galleries. The junction shown is to one side of a main gallery into which opens a branch gallery between the props 1, 3. The prop sections are of steel, hollow and internally braced and between them are yielding inserts of wood &c. and they may be screwed together.
