928,881. Ramps. H. C. SLINGSBY Ltd., and G. SLINGSBY. Aug. 7, 1959 [Aug. 8, 1958], No. 25538/58. Class 78 (3). [Also in Group XXXIII] A ramp or dock board, adapted to bridge the gap between a loading platform and the floor of a lorry, comprises a plate 1 of aluminium alloy provided with a chequered upper surface and having its side edges upturned to form curbs. The plate has a convex bend at 3 which is reinforced by a pair of castings 5-9 which also constitute carrying handles. One or more stops 11 are secured to the plate to locate it relative to the platform and/or lorry floor.
