929,013. Ramps. H. C. SLINGSBY Ltd., and G. SLINGSBY. Aug. 7, 1959 [Aug. 8, 1958], No. 25537/58. Class 78 (3). [Also in Group XXXIII] A ramp or dock board, adapted to bridge the gap between a loading platform and the platform of a lorry, comprises a track plate 2 connected by rivets 7, 9 and bearers 8 to side members 1 which form raised curbs. The plate and side members are constructed from aluminium alloy, and plate 2 is provided with reinforcing channels 6, and ribs 5. The ends of the platform are chamfered, as shown in Fig. 4, and are provided with wooden end blocks 10, 10<SP>1</SP>. Platform-engaging legs (Figs. 2 and 5, not shown) are longitudinally adjustable along the side members.
