749,545. Hand trucks. SLINGSBY, Ltd., H. C., and SLINGSBY, G. Jan. 24, 1955 [Oct. 26, 1953], No. 29553/53. Class 108 (1). A hand truck for moving bottle crates, or boxes having side lugs, or anything having a bottom platform, comprises arms 6 forwardly projecting from plates 6<SP>1</SP> having pegs 6<SP>11</SP> which enter holes in a base plate 5 joining the frame members 2. The plates 6 are vertically and/or horizontally adjustable on the plate 5 to enable the arms to enter or otherwise support various sizes of crates, and the arms 6 may be locked in position by a plate 14 which may be slid along the members 2 to cover the ends of the plates 6<SP>1</SP>.
