928,088. Gold plating solutions. SEL-REX CORPORATION. Feb. 1, 1962 [Aug. 23, 1961], No. 3953/62. Class 41. Gold plating solutions, not containing free organic acids, comprise a soluble gold salt e.g. KAu CN 4 , phosphoric, phosphorous or polyphosphoric acid, and a small amount of base metal which co-deposits with the gold e.g. Co, Ni, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, In, Sn, Sb, Cd, Zn, Pb, or Bi. In examples, Cobalt citrate or tri-glycoll amate, or nickel sulphate is added to potassium gold cyanide solution containing KH 2 PO 4 and H 3 PO 4 and sufficient alkali to bring the pH to 3-6.
