Abstract

927,038. Lawn-mowers. C. A. WILKEY. April 5, 1961 [Oct. 21, 1960], No. 12098/61. Class 6(2). A trailer for attachment to a power mower comprises a frame 10 mounted on a roller 20 and carrying a platform 16 on which the operator stands, the frame being coupled to the mower by means of a drawbar 11 connected through a universal joint 21 to the rear of the mower. A chain 37 attached to the frame and passing through rings on the mower handles engages a hook 35 incorporated in a bolt device 26 attached to the handles to tension the chain and raise the trailer clear of the ground, a hook 40 adjustably fixed to the drawbar engaging the mower handles to secure the trailer in its raised position. A vertically adjustable rake 46 is provided behind the roller.
