Abstract

Natural rubber latex is preserved by the addition to the field latex or the concentrate of at least 0,05% by volume of ethylene oxide. Ammonia may also be added but is not essential. To improve the mechanical stability a small amount of surface active agent such as ammonium laurate or oleate may be added.
