Abstract

Hydrazine, preferably in the form of an aqueous solution of hydrazine hydrate, is added to natural rubber latex. The hydrazine improves the storage stability of the latex and of crepe or sheet rubber made therefrom. Other additives such as ammonia, boric acid, sodium pentachlorphenate and ethylene diamine tetra-acetate.
