Abstract

924,100. Furniture joints. J. HUGUENIN (FILS). April 5, 1961 [April 7, 1960], No. 12202/61. Class 52 (2). A joint for connecting two members 1, 2, each having a main longitudinal groove 3 and an auxiliary groove 4 comprises a lug 5 fitting in the main groove 3 of one member 1 and held by a key 6 which fits into recesses 7, 8 in the member 1 and lug 5, the other end of the lug fitting in the auxiliary groove 4 in the other member 2, and a screw passing through a channel in the lug 5, through a hole in one wall of the member 2 and secured by a nut. The end 9 of the lug 5 is split so that it can also frictionally engage the groove 4 of the member 2. The key member 6 has a recess 12 through which the screw passes.
