Abstract

922,484. Builder motion. T.M.M. (RESEARCH) Ltd. Jan. 2, 1961 [Oct. 2, 1959], No. 33549/59. Class 120 (2). In builder mechanism for textile spinning &c. machines, the shaft 22 of the builder-motion lever 10 is provided with a cam groove 24 co-operating with a member 25 connected to the lifter mechanism of the ring- rail so that rotation of the shaft, as it is picked round by a ratchet wheel 17, imparts a traversing motion to the member 25 longitudinally of the lever. In this way a nosing-build may be produced, or by rendering the ratchet wheel inoperative, a parallel build.
