Abstract

920,115. Furniture joints. P. CADOVIUS. Jan. 10, 1961, No. 1083/61. Class 52 (1). [Also in Group XXV] Oblique dowels 6 are made smaller than the holes 2 in which they are disconnectably received. By relatively inclining the axes 7 and 9 of the hole 2 and dowel 6, the joint is made proof against separation of the interfaces 4 on applying a downward force to member 5. The dowel may be disconnectable from both members 1 and 5. Dowels having oval or rectangular crosssections are referred to.
