Classes 7(2) and 7(6) The distributer valve arrangement described in the parent Specification is modified by having, for each cylinder of a two-stroke engine having other cylinder configurations, an independent valve body 22 accommodated by a seat 3 formed in the crank-case, the axis of each seat lying in a plane perpendicular to the crank-shaft, each seat being disposed in the crankcase on the opposite side of the crank-shaft to the cylinder.
