[Also in Groups I and XXX] A wire fabric which may be used as an insulating pad or the actual spring deck in certain types of furniture consists of a series of resilient wires 12 in generally parallel relationship each secured at its end at 16 to a frame 2 and each having a series of loops 14, which are each linked about the corresponding loop of the adjacent wire. All the loops lie substantially in the plane of the frame and are closed with the connecting wire portions 18, which join each loop, intersecting and extending in substantially opposite directions. The wires 12 at each side of the fabric are clipped at 20, 22 to the frame.
